About Me

I grew up in Santa Barbara, CA, with my parents and two younger brothers. Started racing sailboats when I was 11 -- favorite moments include competing in the the 2011 Transpac Race from Los Angeles to Honolulu, and winning the Youth National Keelboat Championships.

I made my first website when I was in 6th grade -- almost two decades ago! My first big project was a site documenting my family's year living in Lyon, France.

I started working with Wordpress in 2006, making websites for friends and family. After college, I continued honing my web development skills and eventually started working full time as a technology and web consultant for small businesses.

I graduated from UCLA in 2008, and ran a year-round, non-profit youth sailing program for the Santa Barbara Yacht Club until 2011. I currently manage the customer website platform at AppFolio, Inc.

I enjoy diving into code and solving problems, DJing, sailing, and flying my drone.
